STEM Program

R. Bruce Wagner Elementary integrates (STEM) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math into its curriculum. The STEM program at our school has the vision to develop critical and innovative thinkers through inquiry-based learning. Teachers apply math and science concepts to solve engineering problems using technology. Classes will visit the STEM Lab which offers Makerspace and Brackitz kits. Our students can grow BIG ideas with these hands-on 3D building systems. Our goal is to assist students in applying problem-solving skills to real life situations. STEM Design Challenges have an emphasis on the 4 C's: Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical.
